Arctic Machine Oy is a family-owned company that invests in Finnish quality. Established in
1981, the company has rapidly grown into an international success story. Currently, the company’s equipment is used to maintain roads in more than nine countries and in Finland it is the market leader in its field.
The innovative history of Arctic Machine Oy reaches back to 1949. When snowy Finnish roads had to be
kept open, the first snowplows were constructed from steel drums. Today, the company is the only
manufacturer in Europe who can fully equip a road maintenance vehicle for round-the- year use with just
their own products. The vehicles are equipped for snow removal and de-icing, and the data regarding the functioning of the equipment is constantly being collected.
The intention of Arctic Machine is to provide its customers with a comprehensive solution, from primary production to final monitoring. Bold decision-making and perceptive actions regarding internationalization have increased the growth of the company.
