International students’ skills for business’ use in International ‘Day at Work’

​Companies from Central Finland offer international university students possibility to visit companies in the annual International ‘Day at Work’ between March 13th and March 17th, 2017. The international ‘Day at Work’ will familiarize students with companies from Central Finland and companies will get the benefit of the international students' skills and networks.

Central Finland Chamber of Commerce brings together the companies from Central Finland and international students in the annual International ‘Day at Work’ between March 13th and March 17th, 2017. Internationalisation is one of the key issues in the Central Finland Chamber of Commerce’s Influence plan.

International ‘Day at Work’ will be held for the fourth time.

International ‘Day at Work’ brings together international students and entrepreneurs, and helps businesses get the contacts to the international market even after the students have returned to their home countries. Students gain new experience of Finnish business and important contacts. For some this may serve as an access to a summer job.

This year, student-friendly companies and organizations are Isoisän puulelu, Mundus Aer, Nokka-Yhtiöt, Watrec Oy, Pisla, Medita Communications, Naava, ITAB Pikval, Jyväskylän kaupunki, JAO, Conexbird, Keski-Suomen kauppakamari, Mecania Oy, BusinessArena, Hymatic Oy, Stafix , Creamentors, Valmet, Suomen Brodeeraus, Ficote ja Keski-Suomen Yrittäjät.

International ‘Day at Work’ is organized by the Central Finland Chamber of Commerce, University of Jyväskylä and JAMK University of Applied Sciences.
